GOD AND THE NEW PHYSICS
Quantum physics has shown us that we are no silent cogs in some giant clockwork, but rather that human intention actually influences the structure of the physical world. Without consciousness, acting as observer and interpreter, everything would exist only as undefined or pure potential. We are the creators of the universe.
A HISTORY OF THE NEW THOUGHT MOVEMENT
The metaphysical movement (called New Thought), which began in the 19th century with Emerson, Thoreau and other enlightened thinkers, flowered in the 20th century. It is now a vital part of our culture, almost mainstream. Essentially an American phenomenon, New Thought has sometimes been labeled "practical Christianity."
